ACTIVITY 3

At the Monster.com website, you can find a lot of useful information about applying for jobs. You can also search for jobs and submit your résumé for jobs that interest you.

Go to the Monster.com website. Click on the SEARCH JOBS button. Then under BROWSE JOBS BY on the right side of the screen, click US City/State or International, depending on where you want to look for a job. Click on the state (and city) or country where you would like to search. Then, click on a Job Title to read a description of the job. Answer as many of these questions as possible about a job that interests you.

What is the company name?
What are the job requirements?
What is the salary?

ORGANIZING YOUR TIME

Organizing your time effectively is an important part of studying. The following list will guide you through time management.

1.Schedule - Have a regular study time and place each day.

2.Prioritize - Make a list of what you have to do and list it in order of importance. Schedule the important stuff first.

3.Plan your sessions - Do the difficult stuff first.

4.Prepare - Get everything you'll need together BEFORE you start studying.

5.Take breaks - Don't study longer than 50 minutes at a stretch.

6.Divide and conquer - Break your projects up into smaller bits, and complete those bits one by one.

7.Reward yourself - The reward can be small, like treating yourself to some ice-cream. Enjoy yourself when you pass a milestone, stick to your reward plans to make them more worth reaching.

8.Review regularly.

9.Say "No!" to distractions.
